Forms of cooperation and quality assurance
Knowledge is built up through projects in which businesses, students, lecturers and researchers work together. The research group has a large network of regional and other companies and knowledge institutions. Research is always demand-driven thanks to good contacts with the business community.
When it comes to applications the research group collaborates with, and can draw on, the knowledge of domain-specific research groups at Saxion and other universities of applied sciences, including Windesheim, Van Hall Larenstein and The Hague University of Applied Sciences. This makes our research multidisciplinary. Additionally, there is a formal and structural collaboration with Thales, the University of Twente and Roessingh R&D.
Quality of our research
Quality is of paramount importance to Saxion. Together, we work towards a strong quality culture, using widely supported and practical tools, and supported by quality assurance staff dedicated to research. We look at what is going well and how we can use it further. In this way, quality assurance supports the design and implementation of applied research that has an impact. We use the national standards that apply to conducting applied research, the Sector Protocol for Quality Assurance Research. Through smartly organised quality assurance, we remain transparent and accessible. We adhere to the Netherlands Code of Conduct for Research Integrity (NGWI).
