Business Model Transformation
Rapidly evolving technologies, the changing role of the consumer and the urgency of climate change are impacting the way businesses create, deliver and capture value. This requires insight into changes and knowledge relating to possible innovation, as well as effective and measurable ways of transforming to fit a new situation.
The Business Model Transformation research line explores and develops practical knowledge, methods and tools that help organisations transform into meaningful systems in a sustainable society.
Key themes in Business Model Transformation research
We research how (eco)systems work in practice and how they can be structured to bring about the desired transition to sustainable business models. We research what this entails for organisations and those shaping the transformation.
Sustainable organisation is about realising a range of diverse values. We research the organisational challenges involved in determining, monitoring and reporting a wide range of metrics.
We research the role that data and data science methods can play in supporting the process of multiple value creation and sustainable business modelling.
