All over the world, the key to successful business is more and more based on the performance of your Human Resource or Human Capital. International organizations and their staff continually need to adapt to shifts in the external environment and have to feel ‘at home’ anywhere in the world. The programme is aimed at advancing the understanding of human behaviour in the workplace and the contribution of Human Resource (HR) policies and practices to the effectiveness of organizations.

You will certainly have to understand your company’s strategy to cope with the fast changing environments. And within this dynamic and rapidly changing environment, your personal knowledge, skills, competences and understanding how to co-operate with business managers are extremely important to ensure the organizations, and human resource “ fit” to all internal and external changes.

The business can expect from you a thorough understanding of business-oriented HR and an adequate translation of the international (corporate) strategy into relevant and modern HR policies and procedures. As you have profound knowledge of change processes you will be a well trained professional with a broad set of culturally adapted skills and demonstrate a professional approach as a sparring partner of the management.

Saxion’s Short Degree Programme Human Resource Management builds on the previous education of the student. Saxion offers the latest insights and knowledge in business (change) strategies, international HRM strategies, advanced intercultural communication techniques & skills and a thorough understanding of primary business processes.
