I wish to describe my study at Saxion as intellectually stimulating. The MBA program at Saxion University of Applied Sciences helped me to develop the courage to compete in the international environment. I think that there is no better way of acquiring knowledge than through engaging in different tasks, projects and workshops together with students from different countries and cultures. The MBA program offers this experience in full as students from different countries come together to achieve desired targets mostly through team work. This helped to sharpen my intuition as I not only learnt from the academic contributions of my team mates but also learnt a lot of their culture and made great friends. It provided the right amount of challenge and prepared me to face the challenges which I previously did not know how to handle. The MBA at Saxion taught me to improve my leadership skills, ability to work in a team, multi-tasking skills, analytical skill, communication through presentations, ability to meet deadlines and adaptability to situations. In present times, these are most of the important skills needed to thrive in a competitive environment both as an employee and as an entrepreneur.

I like to describe my study at Saxion as intellectually stimulating.

In the beginning of my MBA program, I asked myself how I will be able to cope with the melange but I realised soon that Saxion presents a ‘family-like’ environment where the professionals and knowledge filled lecturers create a friendly atmosphere while imparting knowledge and also give support to boost students’ confidence and are readily available to answer questions. Looking back at my time at Saxion I can say that it was a very good experience. The way the MBA courses were administered have helped me to become a better decision maker and to persevere in the midst of challenges, therefore I will like to say thank you and Up Saxion!
