Deadlines

Deadlines are based on nationality and the specific study programme of interest. To make sure you meet the correct deadlines for your study abroad in the Netherlands, take a look at the list below.

We have two start dates during each year:

February   September
Only exchange programmes All study programmes: Bachelor, Master, Short Degree (Advanced Year), Associate Degree and Exchange programmes

Students with an EU/EEA nationality

For admission in September 2027

  • application deadline is 15 August 2027 

  • deadline for payment and documents is 31 August 2027

Note: The application deadline includes the submission of (temporary) documents: If already available we would like to receive a copy of the final diploma and final transcript of grades. If not available, we would like to receive a copy of your most recent transcript of grades including official translations.

The payment/documents deadline includes the submission of the final diploma and transcript of grades and official translations. This is also the final deadline for submitting the language certificate, if applicable. 

Please bear in mind that Saxion must receive a diploma, including final results, by the payment/documents deadline. A provisional statement of results does not automatically count as a certificate of graduation. Our Student Registration will check if the document can replace the final diploma document.

  • Privileged card from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;  

  • Au-pair;  

  • Study
