Deadlines

Deadlines are based on nationality and the specific study programme of interest. To make sure you meet the correct deadlines for your study abroad in the Netherlands, take a look at the list below.

We have two start dates during each year:

February   September
Only exchange programmes All study programmes: Bachelor, Master, Short Degree (Advanced Year), Associate Degree and Exchange programmes

Students with an EU/EEA nationality

For admission in September 2027

  • application deadline is 15 August 2027 

  • deadline for payment and documents is 31 August 2027

Note: Application deadlines include submission documents. The payment/documents deadline include submission of final diploma and language certificate.

With a valid residence permit for the purpose of, for example:  

  • Privileged card from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;  

  • Au-pair;  

  • Study 

  • Search year

* Visa, final diploma and language certificate (but preferably as early as possible because this IND procedure often takes a long time and must be completed before 1 September).
