You can apply for the NLS/ STS scholarship after you applied for your study programme.

If you've applied for a qualifying study programme at Saxion, the scholarship application will automatically be activated in the Saxion portal (under “Current applications”). You can either start your scholarship application by logging in to the Saxion portal, or you can click on the link in the Saxion scholarships email which you will receive via your private mail which you've used to apply with for a study programme at Saxion.

Deadline for the scholarship application is 30 April 2027 23:59 CEST (1 May 2027). You have to be (conditionally) admitted for the study programme you applied before this date to be eligible for a scholarship.

The scholarship application is a combined NLS/STS application, this means you only have to apply once for a Saxion scholarship (NLS/STS). Nevertheless, you can only be nominated for one single scholarship. You are automatically considered for the highest scholarship for which you are eligible. If you are not selected for that scholarship, you will subsequently be considered for the next available scholarship.

The Saxion Scholarship is not a fully funded scholarship. The scholarship amounts varies from one scholarship to another. You will receive this in the first year of your studies and it will be granted once only.
