The transition to higher education is a big step. Sometimes you need support and sometimes more of a challenge. The Student Support Centre does what its name says and supports you during your studies. Whether you want to take part in training courses, workshops or have a personal coaching consultation. We are happy to help!
Study skills and language coaches
Do you find it difficult to plan ahead? Are you curious to find out how to study smarter? Or do you need help writing reports? Then you can get help from a study skills coach or language coach. They can help you become more structured and improve your study skills. For example by means of a language advice consultation, a study skills consultation, or a study skills coaching course.
Career coaches
Do you have questions concerning your career or are you unsure which internship or study programme suits you best? Then the career coaches at Saxion Career Services will be happy to help you. They will give you career tips and advice. For example help with choosing an internship, finding the right topic for your final project or help with job applications.
Student counsellor
Do you have questions about a special provision or would you like more information about available schemes or financial support? Then the student counsellors will be happy to help you. They can advise about anything that is preventing you from having a care-free study and being a care-free student. For example advice about study delay, financial problems or studying with special needs or a disability.
Student psychologist
Are you having personal problems or are you not feeling good about yourself? Then you can talk to a student psychologist. They can help you with any mental health issues or problems. For example study stress, loneliness, anxiety or feeling depressed.
