About the Keuzegids (Higher Education Guide)
In the 2026 guide for bachelor’s degree programmes the rating score is based on 5 themes and 2 performance indicators, all equally weighted. The five themes were taken from the National Student Survey 2025. The performance indicators (degree certificate within 5 years and progression rate into year 2) count for 28.6%, with the themes taken from the National Student Survey accounting for 71.4%. For associate degrees there was just one performance indicator (progression to second year), which accounts for 16.7%, with the other 83,3% coming from the survey ratings. The Keuzegids explains the method used in more detail on its website.
