The Technologies for Criminal Investigations Research Group collaborates with several Saxion programmes as well as study programmes at the Police Academy. Students from Saxion and beyond support research through, for example, internships and Smart Solutions projects. In addition, students regularly do their graduate assignments with us.

Internship and graduation assignment opportunities

In principle, all students who are interested in our lines of research are welcome to come and do an internship and/or graduate assignment with us. We are also open to students from other applied universities and universities.

PhD track

PhD track It is possible to follow a PhD track with us. We can select a suitable research topic together with you and provide guidance through our team of experts. A PhD track is a four-year research programme in which you conduct independent research, supervised by a research group, with the aim of obtaining a doctoral degree.

Learning and working simultaneously

Several student assistants from study programmes within and outside Saxion, work as colleagues at our research group. As a supporting researcher, you participate in our projects and learn all the ins and outs of applied scientific research in addition to your studies.
