You can only apply with a non-Dutch nationality, please note: the nationality used to apply to get admission to a study programme needs to be identical to the nationality used to hand in a reservation request.

You can only apply if you have been ‘Admitted’ or ‘Conditionally admitted’ to your Saxion programme.

You have not been residing in the Netherlands before.

You are not from the neighbouring municipalities in Germany: Grafschaft Bentheim, Kreis Steinfurt, Kreis Borken, Kreis Coesfeld, Münster, Kreis Warendorf, Landkreis Osnabrück

It is not possible to terminate your rental contract before the end date.

It is not possible to prolong the rental contract; you will need to find your own accommodation after the end date of your rental agreement.

Application deadline: 1 May 2026
- Applied for housing before deadline: 1st of May 2026
- The Housing Conditions Acceptance Form has been signed and returned no later than 12 May 2026.
- A down payment of 2 months rent + deposit has been received by VPS (our external partner) no later than 15 June 2026.
- Returning the signed agreement and paying the down payment is binding: once Saxion/VPS has received the signed agreement and payment, it is no longer possible to cancel your reservation.
- Applied for housing before deadline: 1st of May 2026
- The Housing Conditions Acceptance Form has been signed and returned no later than 12 May 2026.
