Do you want to learn some basics of everyday Dutch? Sign up for the course Dutch for Internationals! This evening course is especially designed for international students.
You can follow one or two consecutive modules, A1 and A2. Each module goes on for 20 weeks (two quartiles).
After following the A1-course you’ll be able to introduce yourself, tell something about yourself, order in a shop, restaurant or bar. Easy conversations are possible. If besides basic language knowledge you’re interested in some Dutch culture, you have the option to choose the beginners course including prominent topics of Dutch culture. Besides the language course, you’ll have three extra culture classes. Those three classes will be held ONSITE. So if you’re residing abroad it’s not possible to choose this course. Please then opt for the regular ‘Beginners course A1’.
After following the A2-course, besides participating in longer conversations, you’ll also be able to understand short messages and write simple letters.
If after completing the A2-course you got the taste for it and want to continue, you can always join our B1- and B2-course for expats.

- 15 x 2 hour language lessons
- 3 x 1,5 hours culture class
- From 17.00 - 19.00 & from 17.00-20.30 when culture class is scheduled
- Free for the first 20 Erasmus+ exchange students (both on location Deventer and Enschede)

Follow-up course A2
- 16 x 2 hour lessons
- € 125 (book included)
