Types of collaboration and quality assurance
Our research takes place in close collaboration with education, public organisations and the business community, with the Sustainable Development Goals as a guideline. If we see opportunities for collaboration, we make agreements in advance about what we expect from one another.
All forms of collaboration are possible
This may vary from a one-off brainstorming session to a multi-year research project. A lecture or workshop is also possible.
Have you run into a specific problem, or do you have a solution that you want to test? Would you like to participate in a new research project for your organisation? Contact us so we can explore the options together.
Do you need specific knowledge in the field of sustainable energy for research purposes? Can our experience in applied research or our network help you on your way? Please contact us for an informal chat.
The Sustainable Energy Systems Research Group has a Flexlab with a so-called nano-grid at its disposal. There is also a Hardware In the Loop (HIL) setup.
In the Energy Conversion lab, small-scale experiments and analyses with biogas and hydrogen can be carried out under safe conditions.
Would you like to make use of this option? Please contact us and we will discuss the options.
Looking for funding opportunities together
Do you have an applied research question but no idea how to organise it? Are you looking for funding options for your energy research? We may be able to help you.
Grant opportunities
A number of grants are available for the kind of applied research that we carry out.
Our research group has extensive experience in writing and (co-)applying for grants for larger consortia. We have a good overview of the subsidy landscape in the field of sustainable energy.
Not every question lends itself directly to a large research project. Sometimes a small exploratory study is more appropriate. Explore the options with us.
There may also be opportunities for a tailor-made grant when a research question fits a theme where the government wants more research done, there may be opportunities for a tailor-made grant. We have also gained experience doing this in the past.
