Acceptance and implementation of technology

Technology in health care and social work can only truly make a difference when successfully integrated into daily life and work. Various factors influence the success of its implementation. For example, employee competencies, new work processes or laws and regulations.

Research in Acceptance and Implementation of Technology focuses on supporting the acceptance and application of market-ready technology (Technology Readiness Level- 8+) in the domains of health care and social work.

Approach

The successful implementation of new technology requires more than just technical knowledge. This is why we look at factors at individual and team level (micro), organisational level (meso) and societal level (macro). The evaluation of technology is of course part of the implementation process.

Integrating technology in practice is complex, that is why we develop evidence-based methods in our projects to support future users – clients, patients and professionals alike.

Collaboration?

All our projects are based on questions from practice. Are you working on the acceptance and implementation of technology within health care and social work? Or have you run into an issue that we can help with? We will be happy to discuss opportunities for collaboration! Please contact us.
