Human-minded & Tech-Minded professional
We believe it is important that professionals are capable and comfortable working with technology so they can deal with changes in their work. The technology competencies of future health and social care professionals is a key element of human-minded and tech-minded professional research. We refer to these competenties as being the human-minded and tech-minded professional.
A human-minded and tech-minded professional has knowledge of issues regarding technology, is aware of the relevance, benefits and risks of using technology. Ultimately, they are able to make systematic and informed considerations about how and under what conditions technology can support (vulnerable) citizens as well as professionals.
Approach
We develop knowledge and interventions that can be applied in education and the professional field to ensure that current and future professionals feel more comfortable working with technology. We talk to experts from the field, education and research to determine the competencies that future and current professionals need. Based on this, we develop practical tools (such as a competency scan), advisory report, infographic, training and/or a course.
Collaboration?
All our projects are based on questions from practice. Are you involved in the increasingly technological world of health care and social work professionals? Or do you have an issue we can help with? We will be happy to discuss opportunities for collaboration! Please contact us.
