Forms of collaboration and quality assurance

The research group investigates social issues. We collaborate with parties involved in education. For example: childcare organisations, schools (primary and secondary), municipalities, libraries and advisory organisations. We conduct this research in collaboration with other universities and universities of applied sciences. The quality of our research is guaranteed by internal and external research reviews.

All forms of collaboration are possible

Would you like to start a project together to investigate a question that fits within the themes of our research group? Or would you like to participate as a school in a research project on one of our themes? Please contact the researchers.

We have extensive experience in conducting research in childcare centres and schools, and in the implementation of new educational approaches. Do you need help? Please get in touch.

Looking for funding opportunities together

Do you have a research question that is appropriate for our research group, or do you have a specific problem that we may have the expertise to solve? We could start a project together. We could look for the right funding options for the project. For example, we can start a grant application together.

Grant opportunities

A number of grants are available for the applied research that we conduct.

There are various research calls for which we regularly draft research proposals (via NRO, NWO). Partners are often asked to contribute in kind.

In addition to the various funding schemes, we can undertake paid research assignments that fall within our areas of expertise.

Quality of our research

Quality is of paramount importance to Saxion. Together, we work towards a strong quality culture, using widely supported and practical tools, and supported by quality assurance staff dedicated to research. We look at what is going well and how we can use it further. In this way, quality assurance supports the design and implementation of applied research that has an impact. We use the national standards that apply to conducting applied research, the Sector Protocol for Quality Assurance Research. Through smartly organised quality assurance, we remain transparent and accessible. We adhere to the Netherlands Code of Conduct for Research Integrity (NGWI).
