Forms of cooperation and quality assurance

We prefer to enter into sustainable collaborations with professionals, other knowledge institutions and organisations in the field. We are also open to shorter projects within the research lines. We work in accordance with the Netherlands Code of Conduct for Research Integrity. This means, among other things, that our research is always independent and methodologically sound.

How can we work together?

We work together in various ways including joint knowledge development based on grants, commissioned research, scientific research and sharing existing knowledge through lectures, workshops and tailor-made educational programmes in the context of further training.

We work with various professional groups to develop new knowledge and refine existing knowledge based on demand articulation. Together with consortia, we regularly apply for grants from various funding bodies.

We regularly perform commissioned research on behalf of organisations in our field, involving drawing up research plans with clients in order to develop the knowledge required.

We regularly conduct fundamental scientific research along with researchers from universities and other universities of applied sciences that is published both nationally and internationally in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

At the request of organisations and networks, we regularly give lectures, guest lectures, presentations and workshops that transfer knowledge developed to professionals and students in our field.

Science and practice go hand in hand, which is why we seek the collaboration of the Online Resilience Research Group at an early stage. This enables us to make even better choices in how we use our limited police resources as effectively as possible.

Mutual search for financing opportunities

If there are opportunities for joint projects within the focus areas of our research lines, we will be happy to look for funding opportunities together with you. We know the routes to different sources of funding in the form of grants, subsidies and innovation budgets. Every project starts with content. Based on this, we will jointly look for the most suitable financing.

Grant options

The research group has partly been run on large grants for several years. We have also developed a good relationship with several grant and subsidy providers.

The research group registers as a coordinator or partner with a consortium for calls that are issued thematically. Thanks to our broad network, we can ensure a suitable composition for each consortium.

When government bodies want to have specific research carried out, customised subsidies can also be issued. The research group can act as coordinator and consortium partner in this regard.
