More information
For more information about this scholarship, check the Study in Holland website.

Saxion is working on a new Scholarship programme - which means that the content below does not apply for incoming students in 2019 or later.
The Saxion Holland Top Talent Scholarship (SHTSS) is a joint initiative of the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Saxion University of Applied Sciences. This scholarship is meant for excellent and very talented students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

The scholarship grant regarding the Bachelor and the Master programme covers the institutional tuition fee, with the exception of the statutory tuition fee. The statutory tuition fee is adjusted every academic year.

Criteria

To be eligible for the Saxion Holland Top Talent Scholarship (SHTTS):

  • You must have outstanding study results, with an average mark of 80% or higher,
  • You must have an IELTS score of 6.5 or higher*,
  • You must be in or starting the admission procedure to one of Saxion’s International Bachelor or Master Programmes as a new student,
  • You must have a nationality from outside the EU/EEA,
  • You receive no other scholarship.

Scholarships are only awarded for programmes of at least 6-month duration and are awarded for one academic year. If you apply for a Saxion scholarship, allocation will be based on a ranking. You will be ranked based on your study results (GPA) of your most recent fully completed school year and your English language proficiency level.

*Students that apply for a study programme who do not require to send proof of their English level to be admitted to the study programme, do have to hand over proof of English equal to 6.5 IELTS or higher to be considered for the SHTTS. Students who do not provide the proof will be ranked with a 6.0 IELTS and are therefore not eligible for this scholarship.
