As a student of the Applied Computer Science programme you’ll be working with the newest software and embedded hardware technologies that make such systems possible.

All the lessons are taught in English, and you will also work alongside students with 25 other nationalities. Outside the classroom, you have the opportunity to join a study association and connect with like-minded people who share your passions.

Option Electrical and Electronic Engineering

The first quarter of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Applied Computer Science share a common base. If you find that you like designing and building hardware more than programming, you can always switch programmes.

During your study

You’ll learn to work with a broad range of tools and techniques, spanning from system programming in C and C++, through electronics, embedded systems and networking, to building interactive, cross-platform applications in C#. Following your interests, you’ll be able to broaden your knowledge in embedded systems, digital signal processing or computer vision. Ultimately, after graduating, you’ll be prepared to tackle the many challenges the modern high-tech industry faces.

Possibilities after your study

On completion of the programme you will be awarded the Applied Computer Science degree and you may then use the BSc degree title. You can work for a wide range of companies as a software and hardware designer, programmer, or developer.
