Healthcare organisations are increasingly using technology to improve the quality of care and ensure its availability. But what is 'good care'? And is this the same for patients, nurses, and managers? To answer these and other questions, we investigate the impact of healthcare technology in collaboration with its users.
Society & digitalisation Information
Technology is ubiquitous in daily life. What does it mean to be human in a technological environment that constantly exerts its influence and never switches off? How does this influence our thinking, feeling, choosing and acting? How can citizens, governments, institutions and companies adopt a responsible attitude in this force field and respect public values?
Sustainability and technology
The climate crisis poses a major ethical challenge. Technology production and excessive human consumption are key factors. Can technology become sustainable? This question requires different ways of thinking and acting. How can we work towards a circular economy? Should we strive for degrowth? How do we restore the balance in nature-humanity-technology?
