The Ethics & Technology Research Group contributes to ethical reflection on the impact of technology on people, society and the environment. We make ethics and technology practical. This is how we contribute to the formation of a critical and responsible attitude among students, researchers, technology developers and citizens.

Sustainability and technology

Environmental and climate issues pose a major ethical challenge. The production of technology and our consumption behaviour are a key factor. Can technology become sustainable? This requires thinking and acting differently. How can we work towards a circular economy? Should we strive for degrowth? How do we bring nature-humanity-technology back into balance?
